YETI Presents: Carter Andrews
A fisherman down to the DNA, Carter Andrews has no choice but to go out there and catch everything that swims. Described by a friend as a “wild man”, he does have a certain intensity about him. Daughter of the Sea: Sisterhood in the Sea | Patagonia Films
For Jaeyoun Kim, the ocean is more than a connection to family; it’s a path to healing. Patagonia Films’ Daughter of the Sea follows Jaeyoun, who leaves her island home in South Korea to pursue a more traditional career path in Seoul. But as her mental health begins to unravel and depression sets in, she decides to join the haenyeo, Jeju Island’s famed “women of the sea.” For centuries, these free divers and fisherwomen—some in their 80s—have dived more than 30 feet to gather seafood for their families and villages. Following in the footsteps of her mother and grandmother, Jaeyoun learns what it means to become a haenyeo and why returning to the ocean ultimately saves her. Content Warning This film includes discussions of depression and suicide. While we have done our best to explore these topics conscientiously, remember that we are looking through the lens of a single person’s experience. Please take care of yourself as you watch and find support if you are struggling with these topics. Frozen Ceiling
If the cameras freeze, they will stop working. It’s been a while since I released a film, or at least one I created purely for the sake of creating. Life can be often too distracting. Nothing brings you back to the present more so than some ice cold water and a little frost bite. The goal of this short piece was to explain the simplicity of a breath hold and the deeper thoughts in the mind when pushing your body to such limits. I just wanted to first off thank Geoff Combs and Andrew Ryzebol our fearless Canadian Ice guides.Thank you for dealing with us and keeping everyone safe under the ice. -https://geoffcoombs.com Written & Directed - Perrin James Freediver's - Ashley Baird + Andrew Ryzebol + Kim Kerts + Nick Fuists + Drew Herrick Music - Dark Tree - Carlos Cipa Trespasser - Ark Patrol And the world was gone - Snow Ghosts UW Cinematography - Perrin James UW camera OP - Geoff Combs Safety divers - Kerry Hollowell + Drew Herrick 1st AC - Anthony Rayburn Equipment - Last breath film Shot on Red Gemini with Nauticam Lastbreathfilm.com

Costa Marlin Fly Project
The ultimate culmination of Community X Conservation, Costa’s Marlin Fly Project is the first multi-partner program of its kind to better understand one of the most incredible Striped Marlin fisheries in the world – by tagging billfish on the fly in Magdalena Bay, Mexico. Costa has spent the past forty years carrying out its ‘higher calling’ to conserve the watery world and the people that call it home. The Marlin Fly Project is an extension of that ongoing commitment. In addition to an unforgettable angling and field-science mission, the goal of the Marlin Fly Project was to engage with the local community and leave a lasting impact. Together with the help of Costa Pros, conservation and community partners, leading billfish scientists, Costa team members, local captains, and the community of San Carlos, Mexico, the Marlin-Fly Project made history by successfully deploying 15 satellite tags in two days of fishing – making it the first recorded billfish research mission completed on fly. #CostaSunglasses #MarlinFlyProject #CommunityXConservation #SeeWhatsOutThere #ProtectWhatsOutThere @FishTBF @IGFAHQ @indifly431 University of Southern Mississippi Fisheries Research & Development Finns West Travel Creel Los Locos Mag Bay
